He decides to go confront her at his office, where he is quickly caught up in a bet between Hallie and her rival for promotion, George. When his horse is bested by a horse named Hallie, Eddie thinks Hallie Galloway has jinxed him. Eddie owes money to a man named Angelo, but believes he'll win back the money on a horse race. Hallie and Christine play his shell game, and after Christine wins, she mentions that it would be very interesting to transform a scruffy street man into an eligible New York bachelor for their project. On a lunch outing, Hallie and her co-worker Christine come across a very rough-looking con man named Eddie. If this doesn't work, Hallie's job will be at risk.
